The line announced Thursday is part of Tiffany’s strategy to attract younger shoppers and pump up sales, which have been dampened by a decline in spending by tourists from China and elsewhere. Tiffany has sold money clips, cuff links, rings other traditional jewelry for men. Now it’s seeking to put a more modern spin on what it offers men. “Tiffany Men’s was created in the spirit of the modern man: bold and confident, casual yet refined, a style arbiter with a discerning eye for quality,” a press release about the new collection said. The new men’s collection includes nearly 100 designs ranging in price from about $200 to $15,000 for jewelry. The upscale jewelry chain launched the line in an attempt to tap into a trend popularized by the likes of Jay-Z and John Mayer who are sporting rings and bracelets.
